Cyclone Hits Madagascar Killing 3 And Leaving 3000 Homeless

Cyclone Fanele hit Madagascar yesterday.  3 are dead and 3000 homeless. Most seriously affected is Morondova, on the western coast.

Cyclones are how hurricanes are called in this part of the world.

USA Today reports that “cyclone Fanele hit the Indian Ocean island off the southern coast of Africa on Wednesday, bringing with it heavy rain and winds of up to 130 mph.”
