I was blown away by this video of the Milky Way, and it’s on my “watch this when your brain is fried” list. I think it might be one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen — on par with the video at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium of the Kiroshio Sea. Terje Sorgjerd, the photographer behind the viral video The Aurora, has done it again. Here, Sogjerd captures the Milky Way over El Teide, Spain’s highest mountain.
Filmed between April 4 and April 11, 2011, the individual frames were shot using a Canon 5D Mark II with a Canon 17mm TSE, Canon 16-35mm II, Canon 24/1.4II, and Sigma 12-24mm.
