A repeat postponement of Game 6 of the World Series is not expected tonight, but anyone in attendance at Busch Stadium in St. Louis will have to bundle up.
In anticipation of the wet Wednesday evening that unfolded in St. Louis, officials pushed Game 6 between the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers to Thursday evening at 8:05 p.m. EDT.
No rain is in the forecast for this evening in St. Louis. Instead, dry weather will prevail under patchy clouds.
It will be a chilly game for players, fans, umpires and coaches with a first pitch temperature expected to be around 51 degrees.

Temperatures will then drop into the mid-40s as the Rangers battle for their first World Series title and the Cardinals fight to force a Game 7.
Unlike Game 1, blustery winds will not create significantly colder AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures. Winds will generally be light and out of the north.
Rain postponing a Major League Baseball game should be nothing new to fans and players.
“Major League Baseball had 51 rainouts during the 2011 regular season, matching the total for 2004 and otherwise making the highest regular season figure for the last 14 years,” stated AccuWeather.com Staff Writer Grace Muller.
