Latest Information on Tonight’s Tornadoes

A line of thunderstorms continue moving across the Mississippi valley tonight.

As of 8 p.m. CST, a tornado was confirmed 4 miles northeast of Fordyce, Ark. moving northeast at 55mph. Local law enforcement reports trees down. 2 house damaged on highway 8 northeast of Fordyce, ARK. No injuries have been reported.

Amateur operators report soft-ball sized hail 4 miles south of England, Ark. Additionally, 2.75 inch (baseball-sized) hail was spotted in Griffith Spring, Ark. by local law enforcement. Golf-ball-sized to baseball-sized hail was reported in Newport and Brinkley, Ark.

Amateur radio operator reported two funnel clouds 10 miles southeast of Hazen, Ark. around 8:15p.m. CST.

Golf-ball-sized to baseball-sized hail reported in Newport and Brinkley, Ark.

National Weather Service was tracking a large tornado 25 miles west of Watkins Corner, Ark. moving northeast at 55mph.

A tornado was reported on the ground one mile west of Burks, Ark.

A tornado was reported on the ground by storm chasers four miles northwest of De Witt, Ark.
